Description

Enrofloxacin (brand name ENRiXIN is a prescription broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic used in a variety of animals to treat bacterial infections, particularly those that are severe or have not responded to other antibiotics. It is effective against many Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus, E. coli, and Pasteurella species, but generally has poor activity against anaerobic bacteria.
