Description
Oxytetracycline and Flunixin Meglumine injection is a combination veterinary medication used to treat bacterial infections in livestock, particularly Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica. It combines a broad-spectrum antibiotic (oxytetracycline) with a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (flunixin) for analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects. Typically administered as a deep intramuscular injection to cattle, it provides sustained antibacterial action for 5-6 days while managing fever.
