Description

Closantel is an antiparasitic agent with a wide spectrum of activity against trematodes, nematodes and larvae of botflies. It affects larval and adult stage of Fasciola hepatica and adult stage of Fasciola gigantica, larval and adult stage of Bunostomum sp., Haemonchus contortus, Haemonchus placei, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Chabertia ovis, Hypoderma bovis and Oestrus ovis. Mechanism of action: violation of phosphorylation and electron transfer, which leads to violation of energy metabolism and parasite’s death.
