Composition:

Each ml contains
Prednisolone (as acetate) BP 7.5mg, Dexamethasone (as Sodium Phosphate) BP 2.5mg

Indications:

Penacort injection 50 ml is a double action powerful corticosteroid which is used as anti-inflammatory orglucocorticoid agent for acute inflammatory conditions of arthritis, acute respiratory distress, musculoskeletal disorders, trauma, circulatory collapse, shock, dermatitis, bursitis, ketosis in dairy cattle and other allergic conditions of livestock.

Dosage and Administration: 

Cattle: 4-8mI IM, SC or lV
Horses: 6-10ml lM or lV
Sheep/Goat: 1-3ml lM or SC
Dogs: 0.2-0.6ml IM or SC
Cats: 0.1-0.3ml SC

Precautions:

Don’t use in viral infections.
Don’t use just after vaccination.
Don’t use in last trimester of pregnancy.
Consult the veterinarian before use.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Store below 25 degree centigrade in a cool and dry place.
