Composition:

Each ml contains:
Oxytetracycline (as HCl) BP 50mg

Indications:

Oxy 5 injection is indicated for the treatment of respiratory infections, chronic respiratory disease, pasteurellosis, hemorrhagic septicemia, enteritis, diarrhea, mastitis, metritis and other infections caused by oxytetracycline sensitive microorganisms in cattle, buffalo, sheep and goat.

Dosage and Administration: 

Administer the following dose by deep intramuscular injection. Repeat dose after 3—5 days after professional judgement.
Cattle / Buffalo / Sheep / Goat: 4-5ml per 50kg body weight.
Poultry: 0.2ml per kg body weight.

Precautions:

Do not administer in cases of ascertained renal insufficiency.
Avoid association with penicillin and β-lactams.
A transitory local irritation reaction with edema, swelling and erythema may last about 5 days at injection site.
Accurate estimates of bodyweight are essential for most effective results.
Consult the veterinarian before use.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Store below 25 degree centigrade in a cool and dry place.
